Since it was October and the weather was lovely, on the last day of our stay in Shimla, we decided to trek down to the spot, before starting our journey back home... Absorbing the beauty around, we must have walked for more than an hour until the sun grew brighter, the boy got tired and with no clear signs of a waterfall ahead or a trail leading to it we decided to return.. Thankfully papa gave the boy a buggy ride back to the car... so the trek wasn't too hard for the then five year old. but we never caught sight of the waterfalls... though at some point we thought we heard its ghost or something such... trickling down not too far away...
So for us, the trek that day exemplified that "Its not the destination, its the journey" that counts..
Hopefully someday we'll return back to the valleys and finally catch a glimpse of the falls...
