Apple Picking, 9/22/2013

Celebrating the first day of autumn '13 at Woodside Orchard, Aquebougue, NY, 9/22/2013... Like us, it was our toddler's first time into any orchard andat first he simply couldn't decide whether t o eat or to play !!!! he however got into the groove soon. he decided it was best to taste some apples before putting them into the paper bag... and that he did very diligently. in all it was an afternoon well spent. in fact we enjoyed ourselves so much that we planned to return to the vicinity soon... next time.. for some cider tasting and pumpkin picking..

Our little Devil, 7/19/2012

Our boy has now mastered the trick of booing people at the count of three.... you just have to say one ..two .. and three... and no matter where you are... he is sure to scare you with his hands thrown out and a fairly loud AAAAA.....AAAH.... Home, Pittsburgh, 7/19/2012, when Mamma counted 1..2..3 and K geared up to scare his Daddy :)

The other Sunday we went to this fancy bakery in Port Jefferson. There, while I gorged on my slice of cheese-cake and his Dad on his brownie, Pradyot kept pacing around the plaster models of the wedding cakes probably wondering which would be the perfect one .. However when I asked what he wanted .. all he said was a...ppee ... . by which he could mean anything from apples to carrots to cheese... so right now we are still in the dark about which cake he wants... but then he is only 15 months ... so there is no rush...
