Christmas Tree, 01/21/2013

Earlier in the year out of shear laziness we let the potted fir stay indoors long after Christmas was over .  but then laziness bred new green needles.... and it felt cruel to leave the little plant out in the cold.... 

so there it stands... our 2012 Christmas tree.. breeding life long before spring begins....
